A mild to moderate heatwave has taken hold of Dhaka, Rajshahi, and Khulna divisions, according to reports from the met office on Wednesday. There's a possibility of the heatwave extending to other areas as well. With increased moisture incursion, discomfort levels may escalate.

Additionally, rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds are anticipated in one or two places in Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, along with the districts of Kishoreganj and Brahmanbaria. Isolated hail is also expected in some areas.

Elsewhere, the weather is expected to remain predominantly dry with partly cloudy skies. Day temperatures may experience a slight rise, while night temperatures are likely to remain relatively unchanged across the country.
