Dhaka, Apr 23 (V7N) — Despite an increase in fuel supply, the ongoing crisis has not fully subsided, as long queues and waiting times are still being reported at filling stations.

Supply improves, pressure eases

On Thursday night, pump operators said they are now able to supply fuel according to customer demand due to increased availability. This has led to a partial reduction in public suffering, especially in the capital.

Situation at filling stations

  • Fuel supply is described as largely normalized

  • Some delays remain due to the process of supplying fuel through fuel pass systems

  • However, these delays are no longer causing major disruptions

Demand begins to decline

Operators noted that:

  • Customer demand has started to decrease

  • Long lines are gradually shortening

  • Overall pressure at pumps is easing compared to previous days

Stakeholders believe that if adequate stock and uninterrupted supply continue, the fuel crisis is likely to end soon, bringing full relief to consumers.
