As the nation celebrates Eid-ul-Fitr after a month of fasting, the day commenced with fervent prayers at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka. The first congregation of Eid prayers took place at 7 am, led by Imam Hafez Mufti Maulana Md. Mizanur Rahman, with Mukabbir Kari Md. Ishaq Muazzin.

The Baitul Mukarram National Mosque is set to host a total of five Eid prayer congregations throughout the day. Each congregation will be held at different times, allowing worshippers to participate according to their convenience.

Following the first congregation, subsequent prayers are scheduled at 8 am, 9 am, 10 am, and 10:45 am, each led by respected Maulanas and accompanied by designated Mukabbirs.

Worshippers from various parts of Dhaka flocked to the National Mosque after Fajr prayers to join in the Eid celebrations and offer their prayers for the well-being of the country and its people. After the conclusion of the prayers, the faithful exchanged heartfelt Eid greetings, marking the joyous occasion.

It's noteworthy that the main Eid congregation will be held at the National Eidgah Maidan, where Khatib Hafez Maulana Mohammad Ruhul Amin will lead the Eid prayers at 8:30 am. With arrangements made for approximately 35,000 worshippers, the National Eidgah is set to witness a gathering of devout Muslims offering prayers and seeking blessings on this auspicious day.
