President Sahabuddin called upon the citizens of the country to embrace the spirit of Eid-ul-Fitr by celebrating joyously together, irrespective of social status. Extending heartfelt Eid wishes to the people of Bangladesh and the world, he emphasized the importance of fostering unity and solidarity among all members of society.

From 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, the President exchanged Eid greetings at the Bangabhaban Credential Hall, where he reiterated his message of inclusivity and shared celebration.

A total of 1500 guests were invited to Bangabhaban for the festive occasion, including senior politicians, judges, poets, writers, journalists, teachers, intellectuals, and civil and military officials, along with the President's family members.

Highlighting the principles of Islam as ones of peace and welfare, President Sahabuddin underscored the importance of promoting human values, equality, mutual coexistence, and cooperation among all individuals.

The President also expressed his concern for those experiencing hardship and suffering around the world, particularly in Palestine, where thousands are facing starvation and lack of medical treatment. He urged the affluent members of society to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate, emphasizing the importance of standing in solidarity with those in need.

As the nation celebrates Eid-ul-Fitr amidst the backdrop of global challenges, President Sahabuddin's call for unity and compassion serves as a timely reminder of the values of empathy and generosity that lie at the heart of the festive season.
