Dhaka, Aug 04 (V7N)- Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman and Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed held a meeting with visiting Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Engineer Walid Al Kherji on Tuesday.
A delegation led by the Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister arrived at the State Guest House Padma shortly after 11 am and joined the meeting.
The meeting is focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, expanding cooperation in security, trade, manpower development and other areas of mutual interest.
The two sides are also expected to discuss various regional and international issues during the meeting.
Engineer Walid Al Kherji arrived in Dhaka on Monday night for a two-day official visit. During his visit, he is scheduled to hold discussions with senior officials of the Bangladesh government on matters related to bilateral cooperation.
