Dhaka, Sep 02 (V7N)- The government will allocate Tk 5 crore as an education budget for scout students, Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon has said.
He made the announcement at a reception for talented scouts who achieved GPA-5 results in the SSC and HSC examinations at the International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
Urging students to uphold their morals and ideals, the Education Minister stressed the importance of respecting teachers and maintaining discipline.
He said the government would provide funding not only for the development of scouting activities but also support talented students pursuing higher education abroad.
At the event, Prime Minister’s Education Adviser Mahdi Amin said students should receive practical and technical education in addition to textbook-based learning.
He urged the scouts to develop themselves as capable citizens who can take responsibility for leading the country in the future.
