Saidpur, Oct 20 (V7N)- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived at Saidpur Airport in Nilphamari on Tuesday morning to visit Durga Puja mandaps in Rangpur, Rajshahi and Chattogram on the occasion of Mahanavami, a major day of the autumn Durga Puja festival.
The Prime Minister departed from Tejgaon Airport in Dhaka aboard a military aircraft at 9am and arrived in Saidpur at around 10am.
From the airport, he is scheduled to visit the puja mandap at Radha Gobinda Temple in Rangpur district, where he will exchange greetings with devotees.
According to the itinerary, Tarique Rahman will leave Saidpur for Shah Makhdum Airport in Rajshahi at 12:30pm. He is scheduled to visit the Dharma Sabha temple puja mandap at 1:15pm before proceeding to Rajshahi Circuit House at 2:15pm.
At 3pm, the Prime Minister is scheduled to attend a public meeting at the Haji Muhammad Muhsin Government High School ground in Rajshahi.
He will depart for Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram at 4:15pm and is expected to visit the puja mandap at JM Sen Hall in Rahmatganj at 5:30pm. He is scheduled to arrive at Chattogram Circuit House at 6:45pm.
According to the schedule, the Prime Minister will leave Chattogram for Dhaka at 7:45pm and is expected to land at Tejgaon Airport at around 9:15pm.
