The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted the persistence of prevailing heat wave conditions across various regions of the country. Very severe to severe heat waves are affecting districts such as Rajshahi, Chuadanga, and Pabna, while Tangail, Bogura, Bagerhat, Jashore, and Kushtia are experiencing severe heat waves. Mild to moderate heat waves are sweeping over other parts of Dhaka, Rajshahi, and Khulna divisions, as well as Rangpur, Mymensingh, Barishal, and specific districts like Moulavibazar, Rangamati, Chandpur, Noakhali, Feni, and Bandarban.
