An aircraft belonging to Air Arabia was rescued at Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport after a minor technical glitch. All 198 passengers aboard the flight are reported to be safe.

The incident occurred on Friday (May 10) morning at 8:40 am, shortly after the aircraft landed at the airport. The aircraft carrying 198 passengers and crew came to a halt on the runway.

The airport's Director, Group Captain Taslim Ahmed, confirmed the incident, stating that the flight, arriving from Sharjah, had 191 passengers and 7 crew members on board. The captain noticed a problem with the aircraft's hydraulic pressure in mid-air and informed the airport's traffic control.

Shortly after landing, the aircraft came to a stop on the runway. However, all passengers and crew members have been safely disembarked.

"We have brought the aircraft safely to the terminal at 8:52 am. Engineers will identify and fix the problem," he added.
