Dhaka, June 17,(V7N)- Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday (June 16) urged everyone to dedicate themselves to the welfare of the country and its people, inspired by the spirit of sacrifice symbolized by Eid-ul-Adha, the second-largest festival for Muslims, which will be celebrated.
 
"Dear countrymen, Assalamu Alaikum. The holy Eid-ul-Adha has once again returned to our lives after a year. I wish you all a joyous Eid-ul-Adha. Eid Mubarak," she conveyed in a video message to greet the nation on the eve of Eid-ul-Adha.
 
Sheikh Hasina added, "Let us embrace the lessons of Eid-ul-Adha and, fueled by the glory of sacrifice, commit ourselves to the betterment of our country and its people."
 
Concluding her message, the Prime Minister said, "May this holy Eid-ul-Adha bring endless joy, happiness, peace, and comfort to our lives. Stay well, stay healthy, and stay safe. Eid Mubarak to all."
