Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud has declared that Bangladesh will not take in any Rohingya refugees, no matter how bad things get in Rakhine state, Myanmar.
During meetings with members of the British Parliament, the minister made this point clear, highlighting that repatriation is the only practical way to address the Rohingya situation.
Dr. Hasan Mahmud emphasized in a discussion on Saturday, January 27, the significance of enabling the Rohingyas to return to their native country.
He mentioned that members of the British Parliament applauded Bangladesh's progress under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's direction.
