Dhaka, August 3- Under the banner of the anti-discrimination student movement, protesters have gathered at the Science Lab intersection in Dhaka. The area has been filled with slogans and graffiti, with students demanding justice for those killed in recent demonstrations.
The protesters have used the streets as their canvas, writing messages such as "Amar Bhai Kobore" (Where is my brother?) and "Khuni Ken Bahire" (Why are the killers outside?), alongside "We Want Justice." These expressions of dissent reflect their frustration and demand accountability for the violence that has marred the movement.
Police forces have been deployed at key points, including the mouth of Newmarket Street, to manage the situation. The protest at Science Lab is part of a nationwide demonstration by the anti-discrimination student movement, which has also seen significant activity in other areas such as Pragati Sarani.
The protests are aimed at highlighting the ongoing issues surrounding the quota reform movement and seeking justice for those affected by the recent violence.
