Dhaka, August 19 — The Interim Government's primary focus is to ensure proper medical treatment for those injured during recent political movements and to gather information on their families for rehabilitation, according to Social Welfare Adviser Sharmin S. Murshid.

During a visit to the injured at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Monday morning, Adviser Murshid emphasized the government's commitment to the well-being of those affected by the unrest. She called on journalists to assist in identifying any issues related to medical bills or negligence in treatment by providing the necessary information to create a comprehensive database of the injured.

"We urge everyone to trust the medical management in place. This government will not tolerate substandard services in government hospitals," said Murshid, underscoring that government hospitals will be closely monitored to ensure high-quality care.

The Social Welfare Adviser reassured the public that the government is fully committed to supporting the injured and their families during this difficult time, with a clear focus on both immediate medical needs and longer-term rehabilitation efforts.
