Dhaka, August 19 — Interim Government Home Affairs Adviser Lt. Gen. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury paid tribute to the martyred policemen of the Great Liberation War on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. He commemorated their sacrifice at a solemn ceremony.

Following the tribute, Lt. Gen. Chowdhury visited the Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital to check on the condition of injured policemen. During his visit, he engaged with the injured officers and inquired about their treatment. The Home Affairs Adviser emphasized the need for high-quality medical care and instructed all relevant parties to ensure the best possible treatment for the injured.

The visit was attended by key officials including IGP Md. Moinul Islam, RAB Director General AKM Shahidur Rahman, and Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md. Mainul Hasan, along with other senior officials.
