Election Commission (EC) Additional Secretary Ashok Kumar Debnath has stated that the polling timetable for reserved seats in parliament will be revealed on Tuesday, February 6.

Tuesday at 11 a.m., the EC will convene a meeting to discuss the poll schedule, with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal serving as chair. We'll make the schedule public following the meeting.

According to Ashok, the ruling Awami League will submit 48 candidates for the women's reserved seats with the backing of independent Members of Parliament. There are two Awami League members in the alliance and 223 members of parliament. The Awami League will occupy 48 of the 50 reserved seats overall.
