Dhaka, Sep 05 (V7N) — The interim government has established a committee to draft a legal framework governing the naming of state institutions and establishments funded by the government. The Cabinet Division issued a notification on Wednesday announcing the formation of the committee, which will be led by Legal Adviser Asif Nazrul as convener.

The committee's members include Local Government Adviser Hasan Arif, Industrial Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan, and Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan. Their primary task will be to create a legal framework for the naming of state-funded institutions and establishments, and present their proposals for government consideration.

The Cabinet Division will provide secretarial support to the committee, and the notification also allows the committee to include additional members if required.

This move follows a decision made by the Advisory Council of the Interim Government on August 22, where it was agreed that a policy would be established to regulate the naming process for government-funded institutions and establishments.
