Dhaka, Sep 22 (V7N) – The Asean Dhaka Committee (ADC), led by the Ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh, alongside ambassadors and officials from Asean member countries in Dhaka, provided relief items to flood victims in Bangladesh. The donation, valued at Tk240,000, included essential supplies such as rice, lentils, cooking oil, and red onions.

The relief efforts were facilitated through the Help Foundation on September 17, showcasing the unity and solidarity of Asean nations in supporting Bangladesh during times of hardship, according to a statement.

The ADC operates as a diplomatic mechanism to foster closer cooperation between Asean and its host country and raise awareness about Asean. This year's key activities include the celebration of Asean Day and discussions with the International Chamber of Commerce Bangladesh.
