Dhaka, Sep 12 (V7N)- After several consecutive rounds of price reductions, gold prices have risen again in Bangladesh, with the price of 22-carat gold increasing by Tk 1,050 per bhori (11.664 grams).
Following the latest increase, the price of 22-carat gold has been set at Tk 2,32,930 per bhori.
The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) announced the revised rates on Saturday morning (September 11). The new prices came into effect at 10:00am.
According to the latest BAJUS rates, 21-carat gold now costs Tk 2,22,490 per bhori, while 18-carat gold is priced at Tk 1,91,056 per bhori.
Meanwhile, the price of traditional-method gold has been set at Tk 1,56,064 per bhori.
The latest increase comes just one day after BAJUS announced a reduction in gold prices on Friday morning.
The repeated adjustments come amid continued fluctuations in the domestic gold market.
