Dhaka, Sep 08 (V7N) — Customers of Pravasi Kalyan Bank can now directly withdraw remittances sent from abroad through City Bank, thanks to a new agreement between the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment and City Bank.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Asif Nazrul, Advisor to the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment, with Mojibur Rahman, Managing Director of Pravasi Kalyan Bank, and Masrur Arefin, Managing Director and CEO of City Bank Plc, representing their respective institutions.

The new arrangement aims to simplify the process for expatriates and their families, allowing for more convenient access to remittances. Senior officials from both banks were also present during the signing ceremony, which marks a significant step towards improving remittance services for Bangladeshis abroad.
