On Monday, March 24, in the afternoon, police retrieved the body of a Polish national from room 905 of the Peninsula Residential Hotel in Chattogram's GEC Circle neighborhood.

58-year-old Jozef Michael Sizarbayya has been identified as the deceased, based on documents discovered at the site.

The hotel records purportedly said he worked at the CEPZ's Kanpark Garments.
The Polish national's skull and other body parts showed evidence of damage, which made the police suspect foul play.

According to Assistant Commissioner (South) Nobel Chakma, the hotel personnel reported around noon that no one was answering from room 905. When they got inside, they discovered the dead on one side of the bed, lifeless.
