The first congregation of Eid-ul-Fitr was held at the Jameatul Falah Mosque ground in Chittagong City. The congregation took place at 8 am on Thursday (April 11).

Sayyid Abu Talib Mohammad Alauddin Al Qadri delivered the sermon as the Khatib of Jameatul Falah Mosque. 

The congregation concluded with the recitation of the sermon.Following the prayers, supplications and prayers were offered, especially for the peace of the Muslim Ummah worldwide, as well as for the oppressed and persecuted Muslims in Palestine.

In addition to the general worshippers, Education Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury Nowfel, former Mayor A J M Nasir Uddin, BNP leader Mir Mohammad Nasir Uddin, Abu Sufian, National Party presidium member Mahmudul Islam Chowdhury, and Suleiman Alam Seth, along with political and business leaders, offered prayers.

After the Fajr prayers, worshippers started arriving at the mosque with prayer mats from various areas.

After the prayers, greetings and exchanges of good wishes were made among the present worshippers.Following the exchange of greetings, Education Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury Nowfel extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the nation through the media.

The second congregation of Eid was held at 8 am. The Pesh Imam led the prayers at the Jameatul Falah Mosque.

Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury of Chittagong offered Eid prayers at 8 am at the Shahi Jame Mosque in Bahaddarhat. Additionally, the Eid congregation was held at Laldighi Shahi Jame Mosque under Chittagong City Corporation at 8 am. 

Under the supervision of the city corporation, Eid prayers were also held at various mosques including Hazrat Sheikh Farid (R.) Chashma Eidgah Mosque, Sugandha Residential Area Mosque, Chawk Bazar City Corporation Mosque, Johur Hossain Market Mosque, South Khulshi Residential Area Mosque, Arefin Nagar Central Cemetery Mosque, Sagorika Cattle Market Mosque, and Ma Ayesha Siddiqui Mosque.

In each of the 41 wards of the city, one main Eid congregation was held at the mosque and Eidgah ground under the supervision of councilors. 

CCTV monitoring was arranged with adequate law enforcement personnel to ensure the safety of the worshippers during the Eid congregation.

The main congregation of Eid-ul-Fitr was held at the M.A. Aziz Stadium adjacent to the gymnasium ground every year under the administration of the district administration and the initiative of the Central Eid Jamaat Committee of Chittagong. This year's main congregation was held on Thursday (April 11) at 9 am.

Former Principal of the Baitush Sharaf Adarsh Kamil Madrasa, Dr. Hazrat Maulana Syed Muhammad Abu Noman led the congregation.

Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Tofayel Islam, Deputy Commissioner and President of Chittagong Central Eid Jamaat Committee Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Tanvir Al Nasif, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) A.K.M. Golam Morshed Khan, along with Muslim officials and employees of the divisional and district administration,general worshippers participated in the main congregation of Eid-ul-Fitr.

After the prayers, Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Tofayel Islam and Deputy Commissioner Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman, along with others, exchanged greetings and good wishes.
