Dhaka, Oct 19 (V7N) — The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has issued a weather advisory, forecasting temporary rain or thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds of 45-60 km/h in six regions. The affected areas are advised to take precautions, and river ports in these regions have been instructed to display warning signal number 1.

The weather forecast, valid until 6 p.m. on Saturday, indicates that these conditions will impact Jessore, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, and Comilla areas. The gusts will blow from the west or south-west direction.

The Met office urges residents and river transport operators in these areas to stay alert, as the gusty winds may disrupt river activities.

Authorities recommend monitoring local updates and taking necessary safety measures until the conditions improve.
