Dhaka, Oct 30 (V7N)- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department forecasts slight fluctuations in day and night temperatures across the country over the next few days. According to the department’s 72-hour outlook issued at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, daytime temperatures may decrease slightly while nighttime temperatures may increase gradually.

The department noted the possibility of light rain in isolated areas within Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions. Elsewhere, the weather is expected to remain mostly dry with partly cloudy skies, with day and night temperatures remaining nearly stable across most regions.

The forecast extends into Wednesday, suggesting light rain in parts of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, and Sylhet divisions until 6 p.m., while other areas may experience dry and partly cloudy conditions. By Thursday evening, light rain may reach areas in Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal, and Chittagong divisions, though overall conditions are expected to remain dry and partly cloudy.

The department also reported that a seasonal low-pressure system persists over the South Bay of Bengal, likely contributing to the current weather patterns.
