Dhaka, Mar 07 (V7N)- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has reported that a low-pressure system extends over West Bengal and surrounding areas, while a seasonal low is situated over the southern Bay of Bengal.

According to the 72-hour weather forecast issued on Friday (March 7) at 9 AM, the country is expected to experience dry weather with partly cloudy skies throughout the day.

Saturday (March 8): Day and night temperatures may rise by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius across the country. The weather will remain dry with occasional cloud cover.

Sunday (March 9): Similar dry weather conditions with partly cloudy skies are expected.

The forecast indicates that towards the end of the five-day period, there is a possibility of rain or thunderstorms, particularly in the northeastern regions of the country.

Citizens are advised to stay updated on weather changes, especially those in areas prone to thunderstorms later in the week.
