Dhaka, Mar 09 (V7N) – A low-pressure area has formed over West Bengal and its surrounding regions, which is expected to cause a 1 to 2-degree Celsius rise in daytime temperatures across Bangladesh.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) provided this information in its 72-hour weather forecast starting from 9 AM on Sunday (March 9).
Sunday (March 9): The weather is expected to remain dry across the country, with partly cloudy skies in some areas.
Monday (March 10): Similar dry conditions will persist, with slightly warmer temperatures both during the day and at night.
Tuesday (March 11): A continued increase in both day and night temperatures is expected.
The five-day extended forecast suggests that towards the end of the period, some parts of the northeastern region of the country may experience rain or thundershowers.
The rise in temperature could lead to warmer-than-usual conditions in many areas, prompting authorities and residents to stay prepared for increasing heat levels.
