Dhaka, Mar 14 (V7N) – A mild heat wave is currently sweeping over Faridpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Khulna, Jessore, and Chuadanga and is likely to expand, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

The 72-hour weather forecast, issued at 9 AM on Friday (March 14), indicates that rain or thundershowers with gusty or squally winds may occur in one or two places in Sylhet division today. However, other parts of the country are expected to experience dry weather with partly cloudy skies.

The low-pressure system extends over West Bengal and its surrounding areas, while the seasonal low is positioned in the South Bay of Bengal.

Upcoming Weather Trends:

  • Saturday (March 15): Day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country.
  • Sunday (March 16): Dry weather will continue with partly cloudy skies.
  • Five-Day Outlook: There is a possibility of rain or thundershowers toward the end of the period.
