Dhaka, Mar 15 (V7N) – A low-pressure system extends over West Bengal and its surrounding areas, while the seasonal normal low-pressure zone is located in the southern Bay of Bengal, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department’s 72-hour forecast issued on Saturday morning.
The forecast indicates that one or two places in the Sylhet division may experience rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds today. In contrast, the rest of the country is expected to have dry weather with partly cloudy skies.
The weather is likely to remain dry with partly cloudy skies on Sunday, with a slight increase in both day and night temperatures across the country. On Monday, while day temperatures may decrease slightly, night temperatures are expected to remain unchanged.
Looking ahead, the extended five-day forecast suggests a possibility of rain or thundershowers in different parts of the country. Meteorologists are monitoring the system closely for further developments.
