Dhaka, Mar 27 (V7N) – A mild heat wave is currently affecting several regions of Bangladesh, including Rajshahi, Rangamati, Feni, Sitakunda, Jessore, Bagerhat, and Patuakhali, and is likely to persist in the coming days.

This was reported in the 72-hour weather forecast issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Thursday morning (March 27).

According to the Met Office, the extension of a low-pressure area is spread over West Bengal and nearby regions, while the normal seasonal low pressure remains in the southern Bay of Bengal.

The forecast indicates that on Friday, the weather across the country will remain dry, with partly cloudy skies. Both day and night temperatures are expected to increase slightly.

On Sunday, the temperature is expected to remain nearly unchanged, with no significant variation in weather conditions. The country will continue to experience dry weather with partly cloudy skies.

The extended five-day forecast suggests that no significant weather changes are expected during this period. The mild heat wave may continue in some regions, and people are advised to take necessary precautions to cope with the heat.
