Dhaka, Apr 08 (V7N) — Rainfall activity has increased across Bangladesh over the past two days, bringing relief as no heat wave has been recorded during this period.
According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, light to moderate rainfall was observed in most divisions on Tuesday, except Rangpur Division.
In its regular forecast issued on Wednesday, the department said that rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds and lightning are likely in parts of Rangpur Division, Rajshahi Division, Dhaka Division, Mymensingh Division, Khulna Division, Barisal Division, Chittagong Division and Sylhet Division throughout the day.
The forecast also indicates the possibility of isolated hailstorms in some areas.
Meanwhile, daytime temperatures across the country are expected to remain nearly unchanged, while nighttime temperatures may see a slight decrease.
