Dhaka, Apr 30 (V7N) — The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast partly cloudy skies over the capital Dhaka and its surrounding areas, with a strong likelihood of rain accompanied by thunder.
The forecast, issued for the six-hour period starting from 7:00 AM on Thursday, indicates the possibility of temporary rainfall or thunderstorms during the day.
According to the weather office, approximately 65 millimeters of rainfall was recorded in Dhaka and nearby areas over the past 24 hours. While the rain has brought some relief to residents, concerns remain over potential disruptions to daily movement.
The department also noted that daytime temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged.
At 6:00 AM, the temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 21.2°C, with the minimum temperature at 20.1°C. The maximum temperature on Wednesday reached 23.4°C.
Authorities have advised residents to remain cautious, as unstable weather conditions may persist throughout the day.
