Dhaka, Jun 27 (V7N) – The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy skies over Dhaka and its surrounding areas, while predicting that daytime temperatures are likely to remain largely unchanged.
The forecast, issued for the six-hour period beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, said the weather in the capital is expected to remain mainly dry despite intermittent cloud cover.
According to the Meteorological Department, the sky may remain partly cloudy or temporarily cloudy throughout the forecast period, with no significant rainfall expected.
The weather office also said south to southeasterly winds are likely to blow across the capital at speeds of 10 to 15 kilometres per hour.
Meanwhile, the daytime temperature is expected to remain nearly unchanged compared with previous readings.
At 12:00 noon on Saturday, the temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 33.4 degrees Celsius, while the relative humidity stood at 62 percent, indicating warm and moderately humid weather conditions.
The Meteorological Department advised residents to remain updated on future weather forecasts as conditions may change depending on regional weather systems.
