Dhaka, Jun 29 (V7N) — The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast partly cloudy to cloudy skies over Dhaka and its surrounding areas, with the possibility of light rain or thundershowers at isolated places.

The forecast, issued for the six-hour period beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Monday (June 29), said south to southeasterly winds are expected to blow at speeds of 8 to 12 kilometres per hour.

The Met Office also predicted that daytime temperatures may decrease slightly, while weather conditions are expected to remain generally comfortable despite the humid atmosphere.

According to the department, the temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 28.8 degrees Celsius at 6:00 a.m., while the relative humidity stood at 86 percent.
