Dhaka, Aug 13 (V7N)- Gusty winds of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour, accompanied by rain or thunderstorms, may occur in six districts of the country, according to the Meteorological Department.

The department issued the warning for the country's inland river ports until 6 pm on Thursday (August 13).

According to the forecast, rain or thunderstorms may occur in Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Chattogram and Cox's Bazar, with gusty winds blowing from the south or southeast at speeds of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour.

In view of the forecast, the river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal No. 1 from 9:30 am to 6 pm on Thursday.
