Dhaka, Sep 18 (V7N)- Moderate to heavy rainfall is likely in different parts of Bangladesh, including Dhaka, on Friday, while day and night temperatures across the country may rise slightly, according to the Meteorological Office.
The Department of Meteorology issued the forecast on Friday (September 18), warning of rain and thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds in several parts of the country.
According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers may occur at one or two places in the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
Moderate to heavy rainfall may also occur in some parts of the country during the period.
The Meteorological Office said both daytime and nighttime temperatures may increase slightly across Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the North Andaman Sea and adjoining areas by September 19.
The weather system may subsequently intensify, according to the forecast.
