Cox's Bazar, July 27 (V7N)- Maritime ports including Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla, and Payra have been instructed to maintain local cautionary signal No. 3 as a low-pressure system over the North Bay and nearby regions has intensified into a well-marked low, now positioned over Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay.

The influence of this system continues to create a steep pressure gradient over the North Bay, potentially leading to gusty or squally weather affecting maritime ports, North Bay, and coastal areas of Bangladesh.

As a precautionary measure, all fishing boats and trawlers in the North Bay area are advised to remain near the coast and proceed with caution until further updates are provided.
