Cox’s Bazar, Oct 21 (V7N)- Unanticipated rain brought much-needed relief from the scorching heat in Cox’s Bazar, Ramu, and Sadar upazilas on Monday afternoon. Starting around 2:30 pm, the downpour took residents and visitors by surprise, but it was welcomed by many, especially tourists who flocked to the beach to enjoy the cooling rain.

Tourists in Cox's Bazar, known for its world-famous beach, took advantage of the weather, bathing in the sea and enjoying the respite from the heat. For many, the rain felt like an unexpected gift, bringing a refreshing break to what had been a hot and humid day.

Meanwhile, meteorological reports indicate the formation of a low-pressure area over the east-central Bay of Bengal and the adjoining North Andaman Sea. While this low-pressure system has the potential to develop into a cyclone, it has not yet intensified, and no warning signals have been issued at sea ports. Should it evolve into a cyclone, it will be named "Dana."

Locals and tourists are advised to stay updated on weather conditions, especially as the low-pressure system could potentially strengthen in the coming days.
