Bhola, Apr 26 (V7N)- In a late-night operation, the Bangladesh Coast Guard arrested three armed robbers and recovered illegal firearms, ammunition, and counterfeit currency in Madanpur Char of Daulatkhan upazila, Bhola district.
The raid was carried out around midnight on Thursday (April 24) following a tip-off about criminal activity in the area. The detainees were identified as Alauddin (45), Zahir Uddin Babar (48), and Lokman (42)—all residents of Madanpur Char.
During the operation, the Coast Guard seized:

A Coast Guard official confirmed that the raid was part of an ongoing effort to curb armed robbery and illegal activities in coastal regions.

Locals expressed relief after the arrests, stating that the group had long terrorized the area, especially at night.
