Chuadanga, Aug 13 (V7N) – India has officially returned 22 Bangladeshi nationals who were previously detained for illegally crossing the border at various times. The handover took place at the Darshana ICP in Chuadanga following a flag meeting between the Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB) and the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at 12:30 pm on Wednesday.

According to Chuadanga-6 BGB sources, the detainees, including 12 women and 10 men, had been imprisoned in Hyderabad jail, India. After a formal flag meeting at Block 32, the BGB officially accepted them and handed them over to the Darshana police station following initial verification.

Nazmul Hasan, commander of Chuadanga-6 BGB, confirmed the handover and said the process followed standard protocols agreed upon by both border forces.
