The deceased was Md. Sazzaduzzaman (30), son of Md. Shahjahan of Vitikandi village of Ghazaria upazila of Munshiganj district. He was working as a forest Beat officer in Ukhiya.

The incident took place in front of Farid Alam's shop in Harinmara area of Ukhiya Rajapalang Union last Sunday (March 31).

The dumper is Chayed Alam, son of Sultan Mia of Tuturbil village in Rajapalang Union of Ukhiya, according to local reports. Since the collision, the driver, Bappi, has fled the scene.

Syed Alam, the dumper's owner, was evading capture and could not be reached.

Following this occurrence, on Sunday morning at about 6:30 am, Divisional Forest Officer Sarwar Alam of Cox's Bazar South Forest Division paid a visit to the location.

Ukhiya Range Officer Gazi Shafiul Alam affirmed the deceased's veracity in this regard. He added that he is staying at the deceased patients' remains at Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital.

The occurrence is unfortunate, according to Sarwar Alam, Divisional Forest Officer of Cox's Bazar South Forest Division. We'll provide more information later. As of yet, no complaints have been made.

According to OC Shamim Hossain, the officer in charge of the Ukhiya Police Station, the deceased's remains have been found and are being transferred to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital for a post-mortem. The driver and the automobile are being impounded as part of an ongoing operation.
