Narayanganj, May 27 (V7N)- Devotees in Fatullah, Narayanganj observed Eid-ul-Azha on Wednesday morning (May 27), holding congregational prayers in line with the timing of Saudi Arabia.
The main Eid congregation was held at Shah Sufi Momtazia Mohammadia Hafezia Madrasa and Jame Mosque in the Lamapara area of Fatullah under Narayanganj Sadar Upazila.
On the same day, another Eid congregation was also held in Sanmandi Union of Sonargaon Upazila, following Saudi Arabia’s schedule.
Local worshippers said they have been observing Eid and Ramadan in accordance with Saudi timings for several years, continuing the practice again this year.
After the prayers, special supplications were offered seeking peace for the global Muslim Ummah and the country. Devotees later performed animal sacrifice in line with Eid-ul-Azha traditions.
