Pabna, Sep 15 (V7N) – Rafiqul Islam Firoz, a Union Parishad member, has been missing for the past two days in Pabna. His family has lodged a general diary with the police after failing to locate him.
Firoz, 45, hails from the village of Bhatpara in Satbariya Union, Sujanagar Upazila. He serves as a member of Ward 7 of the Satbariya Union Parishad.
On Friday (September 13), Firoz’s uncle, Abdul Latif Sheikh, filed the general diary at Ataikula Police Station. According to the report, Firoz went missing on Thursday (September 12) after leaving his home. He was last seen at Puspapara Market in Ataikula around 1:30 p.m.
Abul Hossain, Firoz’s father, expressed concern to Voice7 News, says, “I have no updates on my son’s whereabouts. I am unsure if he has been abducted. I urge the authorities to return my son to me as soon as possible.”
Ataikula Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mizanur Rahman informed Voice7 News that legal measures are being taken. The police are collecting mobile data to expedite the search for Firoz.
