Dhaka, Apr 09 (V7N) – The SSC and equivalent examinations for 2025 are set to commence on Thursday (April 10) across the country. A total of 19,28,181 students will participate in the exams under various education boards, with 14,90,142 students sitting for the SSC under the nine general education boards.
To ensure a fair, smooth, and cheating-free exam environment, the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has issued several guidelines for candidates and exam authorities.
Postponed Mathematics Exam Rescheduled
Due to recent developments, the mathematics examination has been postponed to April 21. A revised exam routine has already been published by the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
According to the updated routine:

The exams will begin on April 10 with Bangla First Paper and

Conclude on May 13 with Bangla Second Paper/Easy Bangla Second Paper.

Theoretical exams will take place from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Practical exams are scheduled for May 15 to 22.
Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates must take their seats 30 minutes before the exam starts.

Exams will follow the order: First MCQ, then creative questions. No break in between.

Admit cards must be collected at least three days before the exam.

Marks for continuous assessment must be sent to the board from the center.

Fill out OMR forms correctly, including roll, registration, and subject code.

Candidates must pass separately in creative, MCQ, and practical parts.

Only registered subjects can be taken.

Exams will not be held at a student’s own school; seating will be arranged via transfer system.

Use of ordinary scientific calculators is allowed.

No mobile phones are permitted inside exam centers except for the center secretary.

All attendance (creative, MCQ, and practical) must be recorded on the same sheet.

Practical exams will be held at designated centers.

Re-evaluation applications can be made within 7 days of result declaration.
