Dhaka, Oct 29 (V7N)- Applications for admission to the undergraduate program of Dhaka University (DU) for the 2025–26 academic year have officially begun today. Students can submit their applications online from 12 noon on Wednesday (October 29) until 11:59 pm on November 16, according to a DU notification.
Admit cards will be available for download from November 24, while the admission tests will begin with the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) unit examination on November 28 and conclude on December 20.
Earlier, the admission test schedule was finalized at a meeting of the General Admission Committee held at the university’s Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban auditorium.

Except for the IBA Unit, all tests will be held from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. The IBA Unit test will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.
The admission tests for all units—except the Fine Arts Unit and the IBA Unit—will take place in eight divisional centers, including Dhaka, Rajshahi University, Chittagong University, Khulna University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Barisal University, Bangladesh Agricultural University/Kabi Nazrul University, and Begum Rokeya University.
The Business Education Unit exams will be conducted at Dhaka University, Rajshahi University, Chittagong University, Khulna University, and Begum Rokeya University.
Each test will carry 120 marks, with 100 marks allocated for the exam and 20 marks based on SSC and HSC results. For most units, the test will include 60 MCQs and 40 written questions, while the Fine Arts Unit will have 40 MCQs and 60 marks for drawing tests.
The minimum eligibility criteria are as follows:

Science Unit: Combined GPA of 8.0 (minimum 3.5 in each exam)

Arts, Law and Social Sciences Unit: Combined GPA of 7.5 (minimum 3.0 in each)

Business Education Unit: Combined GPA of 7.5 (minimum 3.0 in each)

Fine Arts Unit: Combined GPA of 6.5 (minimum 3.0 in each)
Applicants must have passed SSC or equivalent exams between 2020 and 2023 and HSC or equivalent exams in 2025.
