Leeds, Feb 19 (V7N) – The Kavyashilan Spring Festival, organized by the literary magazine Kavyashilan, was held in Leeds, UK, bringing together Bengali and non-Bengali poets, writers, and artists in a vibrant celebration of music, poetry, and dance. The event took place at the Moortown Methodist Church Hall on Monday (local time).

Cultural Enthusiasm in Leeds

Poet Syed Anwar Reza, Executive Editor of Kavyashilan, highlighted the enthusiasm among art lovers in Leeds and nearby cities. He noted that spring celebrations are a shared tradition among various cultures in Britain, which led to a large non-Bengali participation in the event.

“With the arrival of spring, nature in Britain transforms into a spectacle of colors, flowers, and foliage. This celebration deepens the joy of life and strengthens cultural unity,” he said.
