Mumbai, Dec 08 (V7N)– Ranveer Singh’s hyper-violent spy action film Dhurandhar has registered a phenomenal opening at the box office, earning a massive ₹152 crore worldwide within just three days of release.
Sunday proved to be the biggest day for the film, recording a 30 percent growth over Saturday and a remarkable 55 percent jump compared to its opening day. Trade analysts attribute this sharp rise to strong audience response and positive word-of-mouth.
In India, Dhurandhar collected ₹43 crore net on Sunday alone—the highest single-day collection so far. With this, the film’s total domestic earnings for the first three days stand at ₹103 crore net (₹123.50 crore gross), comfortably crossing the ₹100 crore milestone in its opening weekend.
The film has also performed strongly overseas, earning $1.2 million on Sunday. Its total international collection has reached $3.2 million in three days.
Within this short span, Dhurandhar has already surpassed the lifetime global collections of several major action films, including Baaghi 3 (₹137 crore), Vikram Vedha (₹135 crore), and Jatat (₹110 crore).
Trade analysts believe that if the current momentum continues, the film could touch ₹250 crore within its first week.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is inspired by real events from Pakistan’s Lyari region. Besides Ranveer Singh, the film stars Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan. The sequel is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
