Dhaka, Feb 22 (V7N) — Popular Bangladeshi actress Mehjabeen Chowdhury has alleged that she is being deliberately targeted through various issues and false cases, expressing concern over what she described as a campaign to defame her.

She made the remarks in a Facebook post on her verified page around noon on Sunday.

Claims of False Case and Harassment

In her statement, the actress said she had recently faced harassment in a false case but was acquitted by the court, which she said established the truth.
She wrote that despite focusing on new projects, attempts were being made again to tarnish her reputation.

Concern Over AI-Generated Content

Mehjabeen also highlighted a broader concern within the entertainment industry, saying many artists have recently faced embarrassing situations due to AI-generated photos and videos, which she described as undesirable.

Appeal for Support

Pointing to a wider issue of women becoming easy targets, she said she does not know who is behind the harassment but wants to concentrate on her work.
She expressed hope that people would stand by her and keep the focus on her professional achievements rather than controversies.
