Mumbai, July 3, 2024 – The internet has been abuzz with anticipation since the beginning of the year, following the opulent pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, the youngest son of the Ambani family. The celebrations, which commenced in February, have been nothing short of spectacular. From a grand event in Jamnagar, Gujarat, to a luxurious cruise in Italy, the pre-wedding events have seen attendance from the world’s top billionaires and Hollywood-Bollywood stars. The couple is set to wed on July 12 in Mumbai.

Ahead of the main wedding event, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, heads of India’s Reliance Group and among the world's richest individuals, hosted a public wedding ceremony for fifty underprivileged couples on Tuesday. The ceremony took place at Palghar in Maharashtra and was held at Reliance Corporate Park. Approximately 800 family members of the fifty couples were invited to the event.

Indian media reported that Mukesh and Nita Ambani personally officiated the weddings, accompanied by their children, Akash and Shloka Ambani, and Isha Ambani with her husband Anand Piramal. Each newlywed couple received gold jewelry, including mangalsutras, wedding rings, and nose rings (naths). Additionally, they were gifted silver anklets and bangles, along with a "stridhan" of Rs.1 lakh.

The generosity extended further as each couple received 36 essential household items, including utensils, grocery items, gas stoves, mixers, fans, pillows, and mattresses. A grand dinner was also arranged for all attendees.

Nita Ambani dazzled in a customized red silk saree, while Mukesh Ambani donned a white shirt and black pants. Isha Ambani wore a yellow and orange sharara from House of Rymple and Harpreet, priced at Rs.1 lakh 10 thousand. Anand Piramal looked elegant in an ivory kurta, churidar pajama, and a floral patterned koti. Shloka Ambani wore a beautiful chundi print garara, and Akash Ambani matched his father in a white shirt and black pants.

The grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant is scheduled for July 12, 2024, in Mumbai, promising to be another star-studded event, reflecting the Ambani family's penchant for extravagant celebrations. The wedding ceremony will be held at the Jio World Convention Center, followed by a "Mangal Utsav" or wedding reception the next day.
