Mostafa Sarwar Farooki, a screenwriter, producer, and director of films, was hospitalized on January 22 after suffering a cerebral stroke. He has since shown indications of recovery.

According to his wife Nusrat Imrose Tisha, "Farooki has been moved from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to a cabin."

She just shared on Facebook, saying, "Thanks to your prayers, Farooki is safe now, Alhamdulillah. It is necessary to take a few days off. Then, hopefully, he will resume his job."

The medical staff hasn't, however, given a deadline for his release.

Everyone is asked to keep praying for Farooki's quick recovery, as Tisha has implored.
