Dhaka, Mar 26 (V7N) – The Islamic Foundation has announced that five Eid-ul-Fitr congregations will be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka this year.

In a press release issued on Wednesday, the Islamic Foundation confirmed the schedule and details for the prayers on Eid-ul-Fitr:

  1. First Congregation:

    • Time: 7:00 AM

    • Imam: Hafez Mufti Maulana Muhibullahil Baki, Pesh Imam of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque

    • Muezzin: Hafez Md. Ataur Rahman (retired)

  2. Second Congregation:

    • Time: 8:00 AM

    • Imam: Hafez Mufti Maulana Mizanur Rahman, Senior Pesh Imam of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque

    • Muezzin: Md. Nasirullah, Chief Servitor

  3. Third Congregation:

    • Time: 9:00 AM

    • Imam: Maulana Mufti Waliur Rahman Khan, Muhaddis of the Islamic Foundation

    • Muezzin: Md. Abdul Hadi, Custodian of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque

  4. Fourth Congregation:

    • Time: 10:00 AM

    • Imam: Mushtaq Ahmed, Editor (Translation and Compilation Department), Islamic Foundation

    • Muezzin: Md. Alauddin, Custodian of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque

  5. Fifth Congregation:

    • Time: 11:00 AM

    • Imam: Md. Abdullah, Mufti of the Islamic Foundation

    • Muezzin: Md. Ruhul Amin, Custodian of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque

In case of any absence from the designated imam in any of the congregations, Maulana Md. Zakir Hossain, Deputy Director of the Islamic Foundation, will act as the substitute imam.

The Baitul Mukarram National Mosque will be a key location for the Eid prayers, with these five congregations catering to the large number of worshippers expected to attend in the capital.
