Dhaka, Mar 29 (V7N) – The first Eid-ul-Fitr prayer at the National Eidgah in Dhaka will be held at 8:30 AM on Eid day, accommodating over 35,000 worshippers in a single congregation.
The announcement was made by Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Administrator Md. Shahjahan Mia during his visit to the National Eidgah on the Supreme Court premises on Saturday (March 29) morning.
While authorities do not foresee any security threats, Shahjahan Mia stated that if the situation becomes hostile, the first congregation will be moved to Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 9:00 AM instead.
The National Mosque, Baitul Mukarram, will host five Eid prayer congregations this year. The Islamic Foundation announced the schedule on March 26, with prayers taking place as follows:

Preparations for Eid prayers at both venues are nearing completion, ensuring a smooth and organized prayer experience for worshippers.
